I realised my expectations of having a complete PSHE package with detailed weekly lesson plans was probably too much to expect and promptly returned several very expensive programmes, very disappointed. On receipt of your Education in Human Values, I was very pleasantly surprised to find such a comprehensive resource, that has far more material than I could have expected. Everything that is needed is included and there is scope to use it right across Key stages, not only in lessons but assemblies and other related areas as well. Thank you once again, for enabling me to have a good summer holiday and not making up endless PSHE lessons from numerous other sources.

I began to utilise some of the ideas from the EHV programme in order to help children with social and behavioural difficulties, which prevented them from achieving their potential in the 'normal' classroom setting. The class took to the EHV programme straight away and we began our work together. Our class motto was, “Be the best person that you can be”. There was such a positive change in their attitudes towards their work, to each other and to the wider community that from then onwards, I decided to try to involve the whole school in EHV. We made great strides promoting good behaviour throughout the next two years. We were asked to attend a conference in our county and we took eight children to meet one hundred and forty advisers, to tell them how it had all been achieved. Two of the children from Year 4, who were only eight years old, very ably led the whole conference in a Silent Reflection session, which is an important aspect of both programmes.
